The good news is that banks are easier to deal with then short sales. Short sales are still taking a very long time to get completed and many times the buyers have moved on.

As for the “hotel condos”, these are still going to be difficult to get loans.  You will need a good chunk of downpayment and some patience.  I have a great mortgage person who is familar with these loans and can help.

Normally this could take 3 to 4 months, mine only took 30 days.  For a copy of my list to help get your short sale negotiated, call me.
